Welcome to MUSA! This app will help you to discover the museum in an interactive way, and enjoy our amazing collections. It is an audio guide – with the real advantage being that unlike a usual museum audio guide, it doesn’t need to be returned – you can download to your device allowing you to enjoy MUSA anytime.
MUSA – the Museum of the University of St Andrews – displays some of the fantastic treasures from the Universitys collection of over 115,000 artefacts. The University of St Andrews is Scotland’s oldest University and the third oldest in the English-speaking world. The history of the University, its personalities and its teaching practices can be traced through the collections of art works, silver, furniture, photographs, instruments and specimens that it has accumulated.
The museum has four galleries, a Learning Loft and a viewing terrace with panoramic views over St Andrews Bay.
